Foldoutladders.com is operated officially by Sorlandsstigen AS, a registered company in Norway. Sorlandsstigen was started in Norway in 2001 and has been a leading manufacturer and supplier of escape ladders in the country ever since.
Foldoutladders.com is an expansion of our Scandinavian operation, and an opportunity for people in Europe to buy the highest quality fold-out escape ladders directly from the manufacturer.
Our primary focus has always been to make people feel safe. The escape ladders we manufacture has a European certification called EN-131.
The Products
Foldoutladders.com sell escape ladders that offer the highest level of safety while maintaining a sleek and unobtrusive design. The fold-out technology allows the ladders to appear thin and sleek when mounted to buildings. The ladders are burglar-proof and can only be opened by removing a locking pin which is located within reach of the building’s exit point.
The escape ladders are designed in Norway and manufactured in our own factory in Asia. We then ship the ladders to our warehouse facility in Norway.

The Future
We have developed a fold-out ladder with safety hoops. This patented ladder is the only one of its kind on the market. Unfortunately, we currently don’t ship this ladder directly to customers, but if you’re interested in learning more, feel free to get in touch. Fold-out ladders with safety hoops can also be used as an access ladder for buildings and structures.
